Hannah Ashworth

John-Paul’s ex girlfriend. He used her to keep people from finding out the truth about who he was really in love with, but after she saw him kiss Craig he had to admit to her that he was gay. The pair have managed to remain friends.

Sarah Barnes

After kissing Craig, who was dating Sarah at the time, they stopped talking. The pair started talking again afterwards although they now now longer talk after Sarah walked in on Craig and John Paul in bed together at her engagement party.

Craig Dean

John-Paul quickly befriended Craig soon after arriving on the show, and the pair became close friends. The friendship came to an end after John-Paul admitted to Craig that he was in love with him, and kissing him not long after. Since then the pair started talking again and embarked on a secret affair which finally was revealed by John Paul texting Craig's girlfriend forcing her to walk in on them in bed together. The pair almost left to Dublin together, but after Craig wouldn't kiss John Paul in a public place, ie the airport, John Paul decided Craig would not be changing anytime soon and he left Craig to leave alone .

Spike

John Paul's ex boyfriend. The pair became very close in the time that John Paul and Craig were not talking. After Craig confessed his love for John Paul, he decided to end the relationship so he didn't have to lie to Spike.

Father Kieron

Was offered a room and the McQueen house by John Paul's mother Myra. He set up home in John Paul's room, forcing John Paul to share a room with younger sister Michaela. The pair became good friends, and ended up having an secret relationship. After being 'outted' by Myra the pair are now in a public relationship and share a home with Niall.
